- Under the rear engine lid sits a naturally aspirated 2.2-litre air-cooled flat-six, which sends its power to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
- This example is understood to have originally been a US-delivered model, which was first registered in December 1971, and is now located in Germany, where it is offered for sale on behalf of the current owner.
- The odometer indicates 80,535 Kms, though this is not warranted.
- This 911 S 2.2 Targa is finished in Albert Blue with a black vinyl targa roof panel, and a contrasting brushed metal targa roof bar, over retrimmed black leatherette and cloth upholstery, featuring chrome trim highlights.
- It rides on a set of 16-inch Fuchs alloy wheels finished in matte-black with anodised ‘petal’ spokes and lips, fitted with Michelin Primacy 3 tyres.
