Toyota MR 2

Until last week, this was a beautiful MR2 with the original Revision 5 package.
1999 – the final year this version was produced.

It featured a leather interior in excellent condition – all original!
Front end in great shape.
Pop-up headlights work perfectly, no issues or damage.
Targa tops like new, including storage sleeves and rubber seals!
Height-adjustable BS coilover suspension.
Engine in top condition – just serviced recently for the season.
New OEM engine mounts.
Alternator overhauled in 2024 by vd Bos Haarlem.
Clutch set replaced in 2022.
Gear cables upgraded with steel-bushed replacements.
Timing belt and water pump replaced in 2021.
Almost completely rust-free!

Recently fitted with new tires (late 2024); two are still in usable condition.
Wheels have minor curb rash all around.

Unfortunately, on a 70 km/h road, someone slammed into the rear at an estimated 140 km/h.
Now I have to say goodbye to my pride and joy.

WOK-registration in the Netherlands. (Declared unfit for the road after accident.)

The MR2 is now being sold only as a complete car, exactly as shown in the photos.
The original spoiler will be sold separately, as it is undamaged – unless someone makes a strong offer for the entire package.
