Selling my Mercedes 1980 230 CE W123. It belongs to my private collection of classic cars.

Bought in 2010, being the 3rd owner.

The car has been extremely pampered, well-conserved, and much improved over the 16 years of my ownership. Always garage-kept. Light use over the last 9 years.

Accident-free. Rust-free.

The transmission shifts silky smooth.

Brakes perfectly.

The air conditioner is working.

ABS functioning.

The sunroof opens and closes smoothly.

Interiors are in decent condition.

Rubbers are very well conserved.

Wood and chrome all over the car in excellent shape.

Tires in good state, 195/65/15 with less than 10.000 Kms,


SUMMARY of work done throughout my ownership:

- The engine was overhauled in 2016 (Documented). Since then, the car has run around 11.000 kms, only for some travels.
Perfect working condition.

- Suspension: considerably improved and reinforced compared to stock, with special reinforced sporty coils and high-end Koni shock absorbers in the 4 corners. All material bespoke for W123. The best handling experience I had in a W123, having owned and driven many sedans, coupes, and station wagons.

- The power steering system was overhauled, and a new steering box was installed. Works with great precision.

- Vacuum system inspected and fixed all minor leaks.

- Melber Sport wheels 15”.

- Remote central lock simple system is working perfectly.

- Regular maintenance: Last Oil & filter Change in May 2025.


This unit is in very decent shape all over. It can be used as a daily driver if needed. Please, do not expect aesthetic perfection in an unrestored car used for 45 years.

The reason for selling is an oversized collection.

Located in Murcia, southeast of Spain. I am a Classics enthusiast (Not a company nor a dealer).

Ideally, the car can be picked up by the buyer and driven flawlessly and safely to any destination. Otherwise, the buyer should arrange transportation.
