This Citroën BX 1.9 TZS Athenea is probably one of the lowest mileage examples in existence. It has 22,506 kilometers driven by its sole owner during summer vacations between his home and home town. The car was maintained and used frequently until 2016 when it went into storage until today.
In terms of equipment, it is the Athenea Prestige version and has multiple equipment options including air conditioning, power steering, electric windows on all four doors and electric right rear-view mirror, among others.
The overall condition of the car is typical of a car with very little use. All parts are original including the paint and Michelin MX tires with which it left the factory. Externally the car has slight bodywork defects that do not affect the paintwork and internally the most notable defect is a crack in a plastic piece located between the dashboard and the front window.
Mechanically, the spark plugs and spark plug wires have been replaced. The car starts, moves and brakes normally. The ride is smooth and pleasant and the feel of the car typical of the mileage. The suspension is a little stiff but not alarmingly so. The air suspension hoses look in very good condition and no fluid leaks are evident. However, it should be noted that all mechanical components are of origin.
As known faults, the fuel gauge and oil pressure sensor do not read correctly.

Este Citroën BX 1.9 TZS Athenea seguramente sea uno de los ejemplares con menor kilometraje en existencia. Cuenta con 22.506 kilómetros recorridos por su único propietario durante las vacaciones de verano entre su localidad natal y de residencia. El coche fue mantenido y usado con frecuencia hasta el año 2016 cuando pasó a ser almacenado hasta la actualidad.
A nivel de equipamiento se trata de la versión Athenea Prestige y cuenta con múltiples opciones de equipamiento entre las que se encuentran aire acondicionado, dirección asistida, elevalunas eléctricos en las cuatro puertas y retrovisor derecho eléctrico, entre otros.
El estado general del coche es propio de un coche con muy bajo uso. Todas las piezas son originales incluyendo la pintura y los neumáticos Michelin MX con los que salió de fábrica. Exteriormente el coche cuenta con defectos leves de carrocería que no afectan a la pintura e interiormente el defecto más reseñable es una raja en una pieza plástica situada entre el salpicadero y la luna delantera.
Desde el punto de vista mecánico se ha realizado un cambio de bujías y cables de bujías. El coche arranca, se mueve y frena con normalidad. La conducción es suave y placentera y el tacto del coche propio del kilometraje. La suspensión va algo dura pero no de manera alarmante. Los tubos de la suspensión neumática se ven en muy buen estado y no aprecian pérdidas de fluidos. No obstante, cabe destacar que todos los componentes mecánicos son de origen.
Como fallos conocidos, el marcador de la gasolina y el sensor de la presión de aceite no marcan correctamente.
En definitiva, ésta es la oportunidad de reestrenar un Citroën BX en 2025.
