The GT3-R represented a substantial departure from the cossetting standard Continental, featuring stiffer springs, dampers, and anti-roll bars for more responsive handling, as well as 420mm front carbon-ceramic brake discs, an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system, lightweight forged alloy wheels, and carbon-fibre panels throughout the cabin, all of which adds up to an impressive weight saving of around 100kg compared to the standard Continental GT.
